Rihanna to make £5 million for turning on Christmas lights

RiRi is going to earn £5million if she decides to switch on the Christmas lights at London’s Westfield shopping centre.

She has been offered the astronomical sum to illuminate the shopping centre near the Olympic stadium with a source revealing:

Westfield have had a great year due to the Olympics and want to fork out to celebrate. Even though the final contract is still being thrashed out, they’re prepared to pay up to £5 million her for.

Organisers are expecting around 20,000 people to swamp the park,” continued the insider, “The Spice Girls were also discussed but Rihanna came out as the artist of choice.”

Rihanna is reportedly thrilled with having been asked and is hoping that there will be enough room in her schedule for her to flick the switch. Continue reading


Fashion illustrator Hayden Williams recreates style icons like Michelle Obama, Rihanna & Kim Kardashian

Hailing from across the pond, designer and illustrator Hayden Williams is making a splash in the fashion world with his whimsical detailed illustrations of style icons and celebrities. The 21-year-old self-taught artist received an outpouring of kudos when Rihanna made one of his illustrations her Twitter avatar. She later invited Hayden to a sold-out opening tour date at the 02 Arena in London last October.

It felt great when Rihanna acknowledged my work! She loves my design sketches, is very supportive and wants to see me become a success! I think she has a great eye for spotting young emerging talent and I love that she is a big fashion and art enthusiast. That made me like her a lot more,” said Hayden.

HMV customers warned not to buy Fortune album as Brown ‘beats women’


Copies of Chris Brown‘s current album Fortune have been marked by stickers warning against purchasing the album as he ‘beats women’.

The stickers have appeared in HMV stores in London, and are thought to be the work of anti-domestic violence campaigners. The stickers read: ‘Warning – Do not buy this album! This man beats women.’

Chris Brown has successfully overcome the domestic violence stigma after beating Rihanna into a bloody pulp in 2009 as the pair were en route to the Grammy Awards. He has recently been attempting to make up for his actions by visiting victims of domestic violence. Continue reading
