“I liked the Rihanna video a lot because I felt like it was something different,” told Adam Lambert

He has a stack of hit singles and eye catching videos to his name, so we thought glam-pop singer Adam Lambert would be the perfect artist to ask for his picks at this year’s 2012 MTV Video Music Awards!

Although Adam shied away from predicting an actual winner for the ‘Video of the Year’ category, he did admit that he loves Bajan beauty Rihanna‘s “different” clip for ‘We Found Love’!

I liked the Rihanna video a lot because I felt like it was something different,he told MTV Australia when we caught up in Sydney last month.

You know, all of us want to make some glam, fabulous, fashion-orientated thing but that video was very real, almost like documentary style and I thought it was very cool.”

And the “Never Close Our Eyes” singer had nothing but kind words for Australia’s own Gotye, who’s also up for nods in the ‘Video of The Year’ and ‘Best Editing’ categories!

I love the song, yeah it’s great. It’s so different, you know, and the fact that it has become such a big hit especially on American radio is really refreshing,” the former ‘American Idol’ star added.

Songs like this song really change the game a little bit for everybody else and they make us realize that there isn’t a formula maybe, even though everybody keeps saying that there might be.

Don’t miss the 2012 MTV VMAs broadcast live from LA’s Staples Center on Friday September 7 @ 9am (11am NZ) on MTV Australia!

  1. Got my first letter yesterday! Loved it. I feel like I’m a element of something fantastic that’s just starting to materialize. Feeling a strange sense of community around it all. Maybe you might be on to something here! Who would have ever considered that people today would basically print out words on paper just to have it sent from the mail to another person’s mailbox. Next thing you know, peoe will probably be growing their own food and walking or riding bikes everywhere. It’ll never ever get the job done, damn progress.

  2. Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization?
I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m
not seeing very good results. If you know of any please
    share. Thank you!

  3. Google Plus is terrific. I don’t think it will ever be more than the Pepsi to Facebook’s Coke, alas, but it’s much slicker and better designed. It’s much too bad that the service has sacrificed a pile of goodwill over the final week by repeatedly publicly shooting themselves in the foot.
